New Moto Guzzi

Moto Guzzi Motorcycles

Established in 1921 in Mandello del Lario, by Lake Como in Italy, Moto Guzzi is the longest continually-running Italian motorcycle manufacturer and in that time has established a reputation for engineering innovation. They’re credited with inventing the centre stand and swinging arm suspension, creating the first double-overhead-camshaft V8 bike engine and being the first motorcycle manufacturer to use a wind tunnel to help optimise aerodynamics. From their very first racing success in the prestigious Targa Florio of 1921, through their help mobilising Post-War Europe with the Guzzino 65 “Cardellino”; to the introduction of the 90 degree V-twin engine that has become synonymous with the brand in the late 1960s, Guzzi has always marched forward, while keeping one foot firmly in their heritage. Through that time they have always managed to make all their motorcycles have that quintessentially Italian soul. Moto Guzzi is still located in Mandello del Lario, where it all began and, under Piaggio ownership for the past decade, now offer a full range of sport, cruiser, tourer and adventure sport machines – all, of course, with 21st Century versions of that legendary V-twin engine.
